mattermost-community/focalboard ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a self hosted project management app like Trello or Notion, with boards, lists, cards, and a clean way to organize tasks for personal or team use.

I want to be able to run it locally, open it in the browser, and create and move cards around on a kanban style board. If you can, include a simple desktop friendly experience too, since this project seems to support personal desktop and a personal server. Make the UI feel polished and easy to use, and keep the data stored locally for a basic setup.

Please wire up whatever is needed so I can start it with the usual local build and run flow, and if anything is unclear, look up the current docs online. Also make sure the main pieces work end to end, from creating a board to editing cards and refreshing the page without losing data.
