micro-editor/micro ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a simple terminal text editor that feels easy to use right away, like a nicer alternative to nano.

I want it to run in the terminal on the main platforms Go supports, with a clean interface, common shortcuts for save, copy, paste, undo, redo, search, and open file. It should support tabs and split panes, multiple cursors, mouse support, line numbers, soft wrap, persistent undo, and syntax highlighting for lots of languages. Please also add a basic plugin system with Lua so users can extend it, plus a built in way to install and manage plugins. It should have sensible defaults, a few color themes, clipboard support, and simple autocompletion.

Keep it lightweight and self contained so it can be built into one binary. If you need to check current docs or terminal behavior details, look them up online.
