microsoft/generative-ai-for-beginners ? reverse-engineered prompt

I want to build a beginner-friendly course to teach people generative AI from scratch. It should be structured as a series of about 20 lessons. Start with the basics, like what LLMs are and the fundamentals of prompt engineering. Then, move on to practical applications. I want to show how to build a basic chat application, a search-enabled app, and an app that can generate images using AI.

For the more advanced students, please include lessons on topics like responsible AI, using vector databases, function calling, fine-tuning, and AI agents. It's really important that each lesson has code examples that people can run. Please provide the code in both Python and TypeScript where possible. The examples should be set up so users can easily configure them with API keys from either OpenAI or Azure. The whole thing should be a self-contained course that a beginner can follow.
