microsoft/ms-dos ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a simple read only historical explorer for the original MS DOS source in this repo. I want something that makes it easy to browse the different versions, especially 1.25, 2.0, and 4.0, open source files in the browser, and clearly show that this is for reference and experimentation, not for editing the original code. If there are compiled binaries included for the early versions, make those easy to find too.

Please keep the original material untouched and present it more like an archive or museum piece than a modern product. A clean home page with a short explanation, version picker, file browser, and basic search would be great. If it makes sense, add a simple way to view file contents with readable formatting for old assembly and text files.

Make it easy to run locally. Use whatever stack fits best for a lightweight static or near static site, and look up current docs online if you need to.
