Build me an open source federated social media platform inspired by Misskey. I want people to be able to create accounts, post short updates, follow each other, react, reply, share posts, and see a nice home timeline. The important part is that someone can run their own community server, and different servers can talk to each other through ActivityPub so users are not locked into one site.

Please make it feel friendly and polished, with a clean web interface, basic admin tools for running an instance, and support for multiple languages if possible. It should be practical to run in production with Docker, and easy for contributors to work on locally.

Keep the first version focused on the core social experience and federation basics. If you need details about ActivityPub or current federation behavior, look up the current docs online and make reasonable choices.
