Build me a free open source desktop video editor like Shotcut. It should work on Windows, macOS, and Linux, with a clean Qt style interface that normal people can use without learning a huge pro tool.

I want to import video, audio, and image files, preview them, drag clips onto a timeline, trim and split clips, move them around, adjust volume, add simple fades, apply basic video filters, and export the finished video to common formats. Please include project save and open, undo and redo, keyboard shortcuts, and a way to manage media files in the project.

Keep it stable and practical rather than flashy. Use proven media libraries for playback and exporting, and look up current docs online if you need to. Make the app buildable from source, include clear build instructions, and keep the licensing open source friendly, ideally GPLv3.
