I want to build a tool that makes it incredibly easy for anyone to run large language models locally. The main idea is to package up an LLM into a single, self-contained executable file. Someone should be able to just download this one file, run it on their Mac, Windows, or Linux machine, and have a working model with no complicated installation or dependencies.
The system should be based on llama.cpp for the language model parts. I also want it to have a similar feature for audio processing that uses whisper.cpp, so it can create single-file executables for speech-to-text transcription and translation.
Basically, build me a framework that can take open-source models and bundle them into these portable "llamafiles" that just work everywhere. The goal is maximum accessibility for both developers and regular users.
