Help me set up this old Android security research project in a safe way so I can study how it works without using it on any real device. I want the codebase cleaned up so it builds, the parts that are broken fixed if needed, and the whole thing documented in simple terms.

Please keep it limited to a local lab use case only, and do not add anything that would make it more dangerous or usable against other people. If any part is outdated, look up current docs online if you need to, and make the minimum changes needed so I can understand the app, the binder, and the web panel flow. I’d also like a short README explaining how to run it in a test environment and what each piece does at a high level.
