Build me a simple local app where I can drop in PDF files and ask questions about them in a chat style interface.

I want everything to run locally with Docker so I can start it with one command and not have to install anything manually. The app should extract text from uploaded PDFs, store it in a vector database, and use a local AI model to answer questions from the documents. It should feel private and offline, so my files never leave my machine.

Please make the main UI easy to use in the browser, with a place to upload documents, see that they were processed, and then type questions and get answers back with relevant context. If it helps, set up the backend API too so the app is easy to extend later. Use current docs online if you need to check the best way to wire the local model and vector search together.
