Build me a clean Neovim starter setup that I can use as my personal config.
I want it to be small, easy to read, and mostly in one file so I can understand what everything is doing and change it later. It should work with the latest stable or nightly Neovim, and on first launch it should automatically install whatever plugins and tools it needs. Please include sensible defaults for editing, searching files, syntax highlighting, git, and a few useful quality of life features like autocomplete, diagnostics, and nice key mappings.
Make it feel like a teaching example too, so the config is clearly commented and documented. I’m fine with a simple setup that I can grow over time, not a big all in one distribution. If something depends on extra system tools, mention that clearly in the setup notes, and look up current docs online if you need to.
