Build me a simple command line tool that lets me install and switch between different Node.js versions on the same machine.

I want it to work in normal shell sessions on macOS, Linux, WSL, bash, zsh, and other POSIX friendly shells. It should let me install a version, use a version, set a default version, list what is installed, and read a .nvmrc file in a project folder so the right Node version can be used there automatically.

Please also include an easy install script that can be run with curl or wget, plus clear setup for shell startup files so it loads correctly in new terminals. If possible, add bash completion and make sure the tool can work in Docker or other non interactive shells too. Keep it lightweight, shell based, and focused on managing Node versions cleanly.
