Build me a local first research dashboard that can run from a folder on my machine and show whatever research artifacts it finds there.

I want a clean demo view that always works, plus a research workspace view that only appears when the right folders exist. The app should read research files from disk, show them nicely in the browser, and let me create and track new research runs when I have a writable workspace and a local CLI or OpenRouter key set up. If a section does not exist in the workspace, just hide it instead of showing errors.

Make it feel like an observatory for research work, with pages for the demo, research artifacts, benchmarks, and maps when available. Keep it simple, fast, and easy to run locally, with no database and no login. If needed, look up current docs online so the setup is solid.
