obsproject/obs-studio ? reverse-engineered prompt

I'd like to build a desktop application for live streaming and recording, kind of like OBS. It needs to be able to capture different video sources, like a person's entire screen, a specific game window, or their webcam.

The main feature is letting users create "scenes" where they can arrange and mix these sources. For example, they could put their webcam feed in the corner on top of their game capture.

Once a scene is set up, the user should have two main options: record the output as a high-quality video file saved to their computer, or stream it live directly to services like Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook Live. This needs to be a high-performance native app so it runs smoothly and doesn't cause a lot of CPU load, especially while someone is gaming. It should be written in C or C++.
