Build me a tiny Docker like tool in bash, similar to the project description here.
I want it to let me pull a base image, list images, run commands in a container, see running containers, read logs, commit changes into a new image, and remove containers or images. It should also support basic networking and simple cgroup limits for CPU and memory, like being able to change the limits with environment variables. A very limited build command is fine too, just enough to initialize an image and do a basic build flow.
Make it work from the command line with commands that feel like Docker, and include a simple test setup if possible. If you need to check current Linux commands or docs while wiring up the shell scripting, go ahead and look them up online. I’m okay with it being Linux only and running as root for now, but keep it small, readable, and practical.
