Build me a fast, privacy friendly browser search redirector that I can set as my search engine.

I want to type things like !g kittens to jump straight to Google, !w dogs for Wikipedia, and @gh react to search only GitHub, with lots of built in shortcuts and the ability to add my own custom bangs. It should feel instant, work in the address bar, and show autocomplete suggestions for bangs and normal searches. The core redirect should happen locally in the browser, without tracking, accounts, or a heavy backend, and it should be easy to self host if I want full control.

Please make it simple to install and use, with a settings page for choosing prefixes, search providers, and custom bangs. If there’s a good way to support browser search engine setup and suggestion URLs, include that too. Use current docs online if you need to.
