ph7ti/Screen-Diff-Watcher ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a Python app that watches a rectangle on a window or app and tells me when that part of the screen changes.
I want it to work on Windows and Linux, with a simple GUI and also a command line mode. Let me pick a window, draw a region on top of it, save that region with a name, and keep watching it even if the window moves. When something changes, I want an alert like a sound, popup, log entry, webhook, or Telegram message. It should also let me ignore small areas that change on their own, like a clock or spinner.
If you can, add a few detection modes so it can watch simple color changes, visual changes, and text appearing or disappearing. Make it easy to start, stop, test an alert, and reuse saved watch regions later. Use sensible defaults, and look up current docs online if you need to.
