Build me a super fast JSON logger for Node that feels simple to use but stays really lightweight.

I want to be able to create a logger, write info, warn, error, and debug messages, and have each line come out as structured JSON with useful fields like time, level, message, process id, and hostname. It should support child loggers too, so I can attach extra properties once and have them show up in later logs. Please include a way to make logs easier to read during development, but keep the default output machine friendly and very fast.

If it makes sense, add support for sending logs somewhere else in the background so the main app stays quick. Make it work well in Node, and if you can, keep the browser story in mind too. Add a few simple examples and make sure the library is easy to install and use right away.
