podman-container-tools/buildah ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a command line tool for building container images like Buildah.

I want it to let me start a working container from scratch or from an existing image, copy files into it, run commands inside it, mount and unmount its filesystem, then save it as a new OCI image or a normal Docker style image. It should also support basic image tasks like pull, push, tag, inspect, list, rename, and remove containers or images.

Please make it work both with a Dockerfile or by doing the steps manually from a script, so I can build images without needing a daemon or root if possible. I’d like clear help text, sensible defaults, and a few example commands or demos so it’s easy to try right away.
