powerline/fonts ? reverse-engineered prompt

I want a simple project that installs and removes Powerline patched fonts on a computer.

It should let me run one command to install all the included fonts, and another command to uninstall them cleanly. Please make it work for the fonts already in this repo, and keep it easy to use on Linux, with a Windows option too if that makes sense from the files here.

If there are any special setup steps for font cache or font config, include them in a clear way so the fonts actually show up in terminal apps. Also make sure the instructions explain that some apps may need both the normal font and the non ASCII font set separately. If you need to check current docs online for anything, go ahead and do that.
