Build me a small command line tool that makes it easy to run TypeScript files in Node.js without a separate compile step.

I want to be able to point it at a TypeScript entry file and have it just work, including modern ESM style code, and also have a watch mode so it reruns automatically when files change. It should feel simple to use from the terminal, like a drop in replacement for having to manually set up a TypeScript build step every time.

Please make the experience smooth for common Node.js projects, with good error messages and sensible defaults. If you need to look up current Node and TypeScript behavior online, go ahead.
