Build me a Python library that makes it easy to talk to the Jira REST API from code.

I want to be able to connect to a Jira site, fetch issues by key, and read common fields like project key, issue type, and reporter name in a simple, friendly way. It should work with both Jira Cloud and Jira Server or Data Center, and feel solid enough to use in real projects. Please include a small example or quick start that shows how someone would create a client and look up an issue. Also make sure the project is packaged properly, has good documentation, and includes tests so it’s reliable.
