I want to build a simple command-line tool for watching anime. It should be a shell script that's easy to install and works on lots of platforms like Linux, macOS, and even Windows using Git Bash or WSL.

From the terminal, I should be able to search for an anime title and get a list of results. After picking a series, it should show me the available episodes. When I select one, it should automatically open and stream it in a video player like MPV or VLC.

The script needs to keep track of my watch history so I can easily resume where I left off. It would also be great to include an option for downloading episodes for offline viewing. For an extra feature, it would be cool if it could integrate with something like Syncplay so I can watch shows with friends. You can just scrape a popular anime site for the video sources.

Are you gonna build this?
