Build me a simple macOS menu bar app that shows whatever song or media is currently playing, right in the menu bar. It should work with any app that reports now playing info, not just Apple Music or Spotify, and it should update instantly when the track changes.

I want it to feel lightweight and native, with a clean menu bar item and a small dropdown or popup if needed for basic controls or info. Please make it work on macOS 15.4 and newer, since older approaches seem to break there.
