Build me a command line tool that checks a project’s package.json and tells me which dependencies can be updated to newer versions. It should keep the same version style already in the file, like caret and x ranges, and only change the package.json unless I ask it to update the installed packages too. I want it to work well with npm, yarn, pnpm, and bun, and I should be able to run it globally or through npx.

Please also make an interactive mode where I can pick which packages to upgrade, plus filters so I can check only certain packages or exclude some. It should handle stable releases by default, ignore prereleases unless I ask for them, and give me a clear color coded output showing patch, minor, and major updates. If useful, look up current docs online while you build it so the behavior matches how these tools are used today.
