I need a Python library that can pull financial data from Yahoo Finance. The main thing is that I want to be able to enter a stock ticker, like 'AAPL' or 'TSLA', and get its historical market data. It should also work for a list of multiple tickers at the same time.
Besides just the price history, I'd like to get other information too, like searching for company news, seeing what sector or industry a stock belongs to, and even getting live streaming data if possible. It would also be really useful to have a way to build a query to screen the market for stocks that meet certain criteria. The data should come back in a clean format that's easy to work with in Python, like a table. This is for a personal research project.
