Build me a web file server I can run on my computer that lets me share folders or even single files from a browser.

I want a simple admin page where I can pick what to expose, create accounts if I want, and set basic limits like access control and download speed. The public side should be easy to use on desktop and mobile, with search, folder browsing, file uploads and downloads, and the ability to download whole folders as a zip. It should also let me rename, move, and delete files, show basic activity and connection status in real time, and support a simple media viewer for playing files in the browser.

Please include HTTPS support, a virtual file system so shared content can be organized separately from my disk, and a plugin system so features and themes can be extended later. If you need to check current docs or best practices while building it, go ahead and look them up online.
