Build me a desktop note taking app for personal knowledge management that feels simple but smart.

I want to write and edit notes in a clean markdown editor, keep everything stored locally in one folder, and have the app automatically find related notes as I write. It should let me search my notes by meaning, not just exact words, and ask questions about my notes with AI answers that use my own content as context.

Please make it work fully offline by default with local models, and let me connect to Ollama or another OpenAI compatible API if needed. On first launch, let me choose the notes folder, and make it easy to use my existing markdown files there. It should be a native desktop app that runs on Mac, Windows, and Linux, with a polished simple UI, a sidebar for related notes, and a settings area for model setup.
