ripmeapp/ripme ? reverse-engineered prompt

Build me a cross platform desktop app that lets me paste in an album or post link and download all the images and media from it to my computer in one go.

I want it to work on Windows, Mac, and Linux, and I want it to feel like a simple utility for archiving stuff from sites like Imgur, Reddit, Tumblr, Instagram, Flickr, and other supported album sites. It should skip files I already downloaded, let me re rip a link later to grab new posts, and have a built in updater so it can stay current. If a site is not supported, I want the app to make it easy to add support for a new site later.

Please keep it as a Java app that can be built and run from the command line, and make sure it’s easy to test and package into a single runnable jar. If you need current library or site handling info, look up the latest docs online first.
