Hey, I'd like to build an app that works like a personal AI coworker, running locally on my Mac. The most important thing is that it's private and all my data stays on my machine.

It should connect to my Gmail and meeting notes to build a long-term memory of my projects, colleagues, and decisions. This "memory" shouldn't be a black box; I want it to be stored as a collection of plain Markdown files in a local folder, like an Obsidian vault, so I can see and edit the knowledge it's building.

Using that context, the app should help me get work done. I want to be able to ask it to "prep me for my meeting with Sarah" or "build a slide deck about our quarterly roadmap," and it should generate briefs or PDFs. It should also be able to work in the background, maybe drafting email replies for me. I'd like to be able to use my own API keys for cloud models or connect it to a local LLM through Ollama.
