rust-lang/mdBook ? reverse-engineered prompt

Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a simple tool that turns a folder of Markdown files into a clean online book.

I want something like a lightweight GitBook alternative, where I can write chapters in plain Markdown, organize them into a book, and preview the result in a browser. It should generate a nice readable site with a table of contents, chapter navigation, search if that fits, and a polished default theme that looks good on desktop and mobile.

I’d also like it to be easy to run locally for editing, then build out a static version I can publish anywhere. If there are obvious features for book writing, like summaries, code blocks, links between chapters, and an easy way to customize the output, include those too. Look up current docs online if you need to, but keep the experience simple and friendly for someone who just wants to write and publish a book from Markdown.
