I want to build a lightweight utility app for my Asus ROG gaming laptop. The official Armoury Crate software that comes with it is super bloated and slow, and I'd rather have a simple alternative that does the same job without all the extra weight.

It should be a small tool, maybe just a single program I can run, that lets me control all the core hardware features. I need to be able to switch between performance modes like Silent, Balanced, and Turbo, and also manage the GPU modes to save battery when I'm on the go. It should also let me create custom fan curves and adjust power limits. Of course, I want to control the keyboard backlighting and any other RGB on the laptop. A really important feature would be a battery charge limiter to help preserve its health. The UI should be clean and just show me the important stats like CPU/GPU temperature and fan speeds.
