Build me a web app for university students called Edugate. I want students to be able to sign up, log in, and land on a personal dashboard where they can add their courses, generate a syllabus for each course, and edit or delete what they created.

The main value is AI powered study help. Students should be able to pick a topic or subtopic from a course, generate a quiz, answer it, instantly see their results, and get a clear AI explanation for each question. They should also be able to regenerate quizzes and retake them for practice. I also want a notes feature that creates detailed study notes for selected topics and lets users view those notes later.

On the dashboard, show useful progress stats like total quizzes, number of questions solved, correct and incorrect rates, and overall performance. Please also include an EduAI chat assistant that can answer course related questions and help guide studying.

Use Flask with a PostgreSQL database and Gemini for the AI parts. Keep the interface simple and student friendly. Look up current docs online if you need to.
