I want to build a command-line tool in Python that can find social media profiles. The idea is that you give it a username, and it will scan hundreds of different social networks and websites to see if that username is registered.
When it runs, it should show me in the terminal which sites it's checking and print a link to the profile when it finds a match. For each username I search, it should save all the found links into a simple text file. It would be great if it could also export the results as a CSV or Excel file as an option.
I'd also like a feature to make the requests more anonymous by using Tor. Basically, I'm trying to create a tool like the Sherlock project for OSINT and reconnaissance. Make sure it's a well-structured Python project.
Are you gonna build this?
