Build me a simple job portal app for learning MERN, with a clean backend that handles the main things a real job site needs.

I want users to be able to sign up and log in, view jobs, search or filter them, and apply for a job. I also want employers or admins to be able to post, edit, and remove job listings, and see who applied. Please keep it straightforward and beginner friendly, but make it feel like a real project I can show in a portfolio.
