Build me a simple Bash tool that lets me run Claude Code inside its own Linux VM instead of on my laptop directly.

I want to be able to go into a project folder and type one command, then have it create or reuse an isolated QEMU VM with fast shared folder access, full sudo, network access, and Claude Code already set up. It should keep a shared base image and use lightweight per project snapshots so startup is fast and disk use stays small. I also want basic commands to start, stop, reset, list, inspect status, and copy files into the VM, plus a way to connect over SSH and run a one off shell command.

Make it support a few Linux flavors, sync my Claude Code settings and git identity into the VM, and let me forward ports for local apps. If you need current docs for Claude Code or QEMU, look them up online as you build it.
