Build me a full stack job portal called JobConnect with a clean, modern, responsive UI. I want people to be able to register, log in, and then land on a protected home page where they can search for jobs by title or location, browse listings, open a job details page, and see things like company name, location, job type, salary, description, and requirements.

Also add a simple application flow so users can apply for a job by entering their full name, email, phone number, resume link, and cover letter, then save those applications in MongoDB. Please wire up the frontend and backend so everything actually works together, with a REST API, MongoDB connection, and logout too.

Use the existing MERN stack setup in the project and keep the app polished and easy to use. If you need to check current docs online for anything, feel free to do that.
