ssloy/tinyrenderer ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a tiny software renderer in C++ that follows the idea of this project, where the program takes a triangulated 3D model and writes out a rendered TGA image, with no GUI. I want the basics covered first, like loading a simple model, setting individual pixels, drawing lines and filled triangles, then adding hidden surface removal with a z buffer, simple camera handling, shading, textures, and if possible normal maps and shadows too. It should be easy to compile from the command line with CMake, and I want it to run on a sample OBJ file and save the final result as framebuffer.tga. Keep it self contained, without third party graphics libraries, and if you need to look up current docs online to fill in any missing details, go ahead.
