Reverse engineered prompt
Build me an open source physics simulation tool for cloth, soft shells, solid objects, and rope like rods that can handle hard contact without pieces passing through each other or snagging.
I want it to be usable by artists and researchers, not just engine programmers. It should include a Python interface with clear examples in JupyterLab, plus a Blender add on so someone can set up a scene, run the simulation locally or on a remote GPU machine, and bring the results back into Blender.
Please make it practical to install and try. On Windows it should be possible to unzip and run with a simple start file, and on Linux or Windows it should also work through Docker. Include demo scenes that show cloth folding, rods twisting, solids colliding, and larger stress test style simulations. It does not need to be real time, but it should be robust, GPU accelerated, documented, and easy to cleanly remove after testing.
