I want to build a great PlayStation 1 emulator so I can play my old favorite games on my PC. Let's base it on the DuckStation project, I've heard it's one of the best for performance and accuracy.
The most important thing is that it runs games smoothly and lets me use modern features. It should support things like upscaling and texture filtering to make the old 3D graphics look crisper on a modern high-res display. Please build it for Windows with a nice, clean user interface that can scan and manage my game library. It should have a regular desktop UI and also a "big picture" fullscreen mode that's good for using on a TV. It needs full support for standard gamepads like an Xbox controller, and of course, it has to support save states. I know I'll have to find and add the PS1 BIOS file myself once it's built.
Are you gonna build this?
