Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a CAM library that I can embed in my own app, with the main engine written in Rust and a simple Python API on top.
I want to be able to describe stock, tools, machines, and machining operations in Python, then have the library plan toolpaths, simulate material removal as it streams moves, check the program against the stock and limits, and export G code through editable postprocessors. It should handle three axis milling, turning, and plasma or laser cutting, with things like facing, pockets, contouring, drilling, roughing, finishing, threading, and other common shop operations.
There should be no UI and no machine control, just files and simulation. Please make it safe by checking moves against the model, fixtures, protected areas, and machine limits, and reject posting if something is uncertain until I explicitly accept it. If needed, look up current docs online to match the supported controller posts and Python packaging setup.
