syklonAK/ng-control-plane ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a Python command line tool called pg router that acts like a control plane for Nginx routing, not a proxy itself.
I want it to manage a YAML based configuration for listeners, routes, backends, tunnels, remote targets, and health checks, then validate that config, generate the right Nginx fragment files, and apply them safely. It should have an interactive menu when run in a terminal, plus normal commands for things like install, update, uninstall, status, validate, apply, preview changes, and rollback. It should also let me list, show, edit, copy, delete, and select config files, with backups and validation so I do not accidentally break anything.
Please make the installer smart enough to set up the app and Nginx only when needed, and keep everything idempotent so I can rerun commands without causing damage. A guided wizard for creating or extending configs would be great too. If you need to, look up current docs online for any distro or Nginx details.
