syssec-utd/pylingual ? reverse-engineered prompt
Reverse engineered prompt
Build me a Python decompiler called PyLingual that can take one or more .pyc files and turn them back into readable Python source code for modern Python versions starting at 3.6.
I want a simple command line tool that can usually detect the Python version automatically, but also lets me set it manually if needed. It should write the decompiled output to a folder, keep quiet when asked, and have a helpful help screen with the main options. If possible, let it reuse past translation results through Redis so repeated files run faster, but make that optional so the tool still works without it.
Please make it work locally, with clear setup instructions, and use current docs online if you need to check anything. I also want it to be easy to run from source and for the code to be organized so it can be improved later.
