I want to get this portable Windows photo editor building cleanly and working from source. Please inspect the project, make sure it runs in VB6, and fix anything needed so I can open it, edit photos, and save them without errors. I’d like the main app to keep the usual PhotoDemon feel, with the editor tools, layers, filters, undo and redo, macro recording, and batch processing all functioning as expected.

If there are missing setup steps or broken paths, please clean those up and make the README or install notes clearer so a normal Windows user can follow them. Keep it portable, with no installer, and don’t introduce anything that would change that.
