I want to build a tool that lets me control Google NotebookLM automatically, without having to use the website. It should be a Python library that also provides a simple command-line interface.
The main thing is to be able to automate my research. I need to be able to point it at a bunch of sources—like PDFs, web pages, and even YouTube videos—and have it upload them all to a notebook for me.
Once the sources are in, I want to use commands to ask questions about the material and, more importantly, generate content from it. It should be able to create audio podcasts (as MP3s), video summaries, quizzes, and slide decks. A key feature is that it should be able to download all of these generated files, including some formats the real website doesn't offer, like an editable PowerPoint file for a slide deck or a structured JSON file for a mind map. It will need to handle logging into my Google account, maybe by opening a browser the first time.
