Build me a small HR assistant service with two parts, one backend API for the actual HR data and auth, and one MCP gateway that sits in front of it so an MCP client can use the HR features as tools.

I want the API to handle things like login with JWT and expose a few HR endpoints such as tickets and meetings, plus anything else needed to make the demo feel complete. Then make the MCP server accept a permanent personal access token for each user, with simple register and revoke endpoints, and have it quietly handle signing in to the API behind the scenes when tools are called. The idea is that someone can register once, copy their token into an MCP client, and start using the HR tools without thinking about JWTs.
