toon-format/toon ? reverse-engineered prompt

Reverse engineered prompt

Build me a TypeScript project for a format called TOON, a compact human readable way to represent normal JSON for LLM prompts. I want people to be able to take existing JSON, encode it into TOON, decode it back again with lossless round trips, and save files with the .toon extension. The format should use indentation for nested objects and a compact table style layout for uniform arrays of objects, including array lengths and field headers so models can follow the structure more reliably.

Please include a usable SDK and a simple CLI for converting between JSON and TOON, validating input, and showing helpful errors. Add clear docs with examples that show when TOON is a good fit, especially for uniform arrays, and when plain JSON or CSV is better. It would also be great to include benchmark scripts that compare token usage and basic retrieval accuracy against JSON and other common formats. If anything is unclear, look up the current TOON spec online and keep the implementation aligned with it.
