Build me a Vim plugin for working with Git right inside the editor.
I want it to feel like a really smooth Git wrapper, so I can run normal Git commands from Vim, see diffs and logs in temporary buffers, review blame line by line, and work on commits and rebases without leaving the current session. It should understand the repository for the file I’m editing, so I never have to worry about my current folder. I’d also like handy commands for opening a file or an older version of it, comparing the staged and working copy side by side, staging changes from inside Vim, moving or deleting files with Git aware behavior, and browsing the current file on the web if possible.
Make it behave nicely in the editor, use split windows and quickfix where that makes sense, and include a statusline indicator for the current branch. If there are any details you need from current Git or Vim docs, look them up online.
