I want to get this old Minecraft beta server mod compiling again from source.

Please make the project build cleanly in a modern Java IDE, keep the server admin and API behavior intact, and make sure the jarjar step still produces the minecraft_servero.jar file like the README describes. If any old build settings are broken, update them just enough so the source can be opened, compiled, and tested without a lot of manual setup.

Also add a simple README section that explains what files are needed, how to build it, and how to copy the compiled classes back into a clean minecraft_server.jar for testing. If you need current docs or older references to fill in missing details, look them up online. I mainly want a working, understandable source build for this legacy mod, not a redesign.
