Build me a working open source platform for running AI workflows and background jobs in TypeScript.
I want developers to be able to define tasks in their own code, send them a payload, and then run them reliably without worrying about timeouts or servers. The app should support long running jobs, automatic retries, queues, scheduled runs, batch runs, and live status updates while a run is happening.
Please include a clean web dashboard where I can see every run, logs, errors, traces, retry history, metadata, tags, and whether a job is queued, running, completed, failed, or cancelled. I also want a simple way to pause a workflow until a person approves or rejects something.
Make it feel like a developer tool that can be used locally, in staging, and in production. Include example tasks, setup instructions, environment configuration, and a basic self hosted option if possible. Use TypeScript throughout, and look up current docs online if you need to.
