Build me a terminal app for exploring log files in a smarter way than tail and less.

I want to point it at one file, a folder, or piped input, and have it automatically detect log formats, merge multiple logs by timestamp, follow new entries as they arrive, and handle compressed files too. It should make errors and warnings easy to spot, let me jump between them, search with regular expressions, filter down to only what I care about, and pretty print structured text like JSON lines. I’d also like a simple time histogram view and a way to inspect or analyze messages more deeply from inside the app.

Make it feel polished in the terminal, with keyboard navigation, a log view, and a file status area. If you need to look up current docs or best practices while building it, go ahead.
